• Action Boxing is for sure the best place for all things Boxing, the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. The sessions are well structured to all fitness levels and if you put in max effort by the end of it your totally stuffed. I found that no session is exactly the same and always has variety. Here's to Action giving me the abs I have always wanted and the boxing technique that I have always desired!
  • Action Fitness Boxing is a great gym, run by lovely people, that provides a fun and effective workout. I always wanted to do boxing for exercise, but was worried because I was a rather unfit female who had never boxed before. This gym, however, has people of all ages, genders, boxing experience and fitness levels, which makes you feel like you fit in!

    Gym classes involve many different activities – from boxing in the ring and punching the bags to medicine ball work, abs exercises and skipping. You can go at your own pace, so it can be an intense work out or toned down for beginners. Also, exercises are modified by the instructors depending on your fitness level and any injuries, making this gym perfect for anyone.

    Over the past 6 months I've definitely lost weight and toned up, while at the same time having a lot of fun. If you are looking for a gym with a great atmosphere, considerate instructors and fantastic results, and one that you'll WANT to return to, this is the place to come.

    The format of the classes constantly change to keep things interesting and fresh and the activities, whilst challenging, vary quite quickly so that "scary" hour simply flies! They are motivational and caring in their attitude to class members and are quick to think up alternate activities if old age or chronic injury makes any exercise difficult.

    I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this class to any age or fitness level - the girls will sort you out and you will laugh a lot!

Boxing training has certainly given my body a look of firmness and strength that I've not seen before, and with this comes a positive outlook on situations that comes my way.
